Monitor releases are moving fast this summer. Here’s today’s roundup.

Philips has just introduced what it’s calling the world’s first triple-mode fast IPS gaming monitors, adding another twist to the multi-refresh-rate “dual/triple mode” trend that’s spread across the gaming monitor market this year — these panels let users switch between resolution/refresh-rate combinations on the fly.

MSI has unveiled a PRO MAX OLED model (271UPJW12) built on a new inkjet-printed (IJP) OLED panel supplied by TCL CSOT. This manufacturing approach is being watched closely as a potential new competitor to Samsung and LG’s dominance in OLED monitor panel supply.

At the higher end of the desktop display market, mini-LED super-ultrawide entries are expanding — Innocn has added flat-screen mini-LED super-ultrawide models with 1760 dimming zones, while Titan Army has released a glasses-free 3D monitor pairing a 27-inch 4K 190Hz IPS panel with a 2304-zone mini-LED FALD backlight. Asus’s ROG lineup announced at Computex, including the Swift PG27UCWM with its 4K Tandem WOLED panel and RGB-stripe pixel layout, also continues its regional rollout.
